Start your safari and drive through the cool Kenyan highlands and further north to Samburu/Shaba National Reserve arriving at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, enjoy your game viewing drive to introduce you to the game in the area.

The northern territory is famous for the unique wildlife conservation, a haven for abundance of rare species of animals that live north of the equator such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The area is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants and abundant birdlife with over 450 recorded species.

Shaba National Reserve is also a popular destination for tourists. It was the setting for the book and film Born Free, for the film Out of Africa and for the reality show Survivor - Africa.

Depart and drive towards the Aberdare National Park arriving at Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch. This is the base hotel for The Ark Lodge, a tree lodge located in the Aberdare National Park. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to The Ark Lodge in lodge shuttle with your light luggage for the overnight of game viewing from the decks.

Enjoy hot breakfast at your lodge overlooking the waterhole.

Transfer back to the base hotel to pick the rest of your luggage and re-unite with your driver guide. Depart thereafter and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the view point for your magnificent memorable photos.

The Great Rift Valley is a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 7,000km in total length, that runs from Lebanon in Asia to Mozambique in Southeast Africa. This valley extends northward for 5,950km through the eastern part of Africa, the Red Sea and into Western Asia.

Arrive at you lodge/camp in time for lunch and later in the afternoon, enjoy your game viewing extending to the shores of the lake famous for its abundant birdlife and flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake.

Enjoy early morning game drives within the park followed by breakfast at your lodge/camp. Depart thereafter and drive on the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, enjoy your game viewing drive to introduce you to the game in the area.

Masai Mara National Reserve is the northern extension of the rolling plains of Serengeti with highest concentration of wildlife including the the Big Five. Each year, over 1.2 million sensational wildebeests migration happens here between June and October.
